| "My brother, Harry, was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. This summer we discovered a tumor the size of a softball below his knee. He has been through two chemo treatments and received bad news when the doctors told him the tumor was not shrinking. He recently had his leg amputated above the knee and three days after this surgery he was at school visiting with friends. My brother has surfed the beaches of Costa Rica, rock climbed in Colorado, spearfished off Miami, and has swam 50 meters under 22 seconds. However, he is now facing his toughest challenge. Prosthetics are expensive and due to his dynamic lifestyle he would need a few to keep him active. Therefore, we a re org anizing a fundraiser to benefit his cause. Harry's recent battle with Osteosarcoma has resulted in the loss of his leg but his strength and positive spirit have been an inspiration to us all.
